One class a month is $55.00

Two classes a month are $95.00

As you continue to add classes, the price increases.

Please refer to the Payment Policy.

  • Who can be a part of the En Croix Dance Academy?

Ages Pre-K to 12th grade can be a member of our studio.  Our vision is to provide training to kids throughout the Odessa / Midland area.  Those dancers seeking additional training and wanting to grow at a faster pace, have the option to participate on a team. If interested in teams, please reach out via email for more information.

  • How are dancers selected for teams?

Those that are wanting to be on a team, will be evaluated throughout the year and summer on their dance abilities, as well as, their maturity, hard work, and efforts made in classes.

  • When will the year start and end?

We will officially begin the year in August with team camps. Our recreational classes begin in September, the Tuesday after Labor Day. We will end the year after May recital.  We do have a full summer schedule, including classes and camps, for those dancers wanting additional training.

  • What styles of dance do you offer?

Creative Dance (pre-k), Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Pom, Kicks, Technique class, stretch/acro.

  • Can I watch class?

Due to or studio being an open studio, we do not allow parent to watch classes. We find that when parents come watch, it is a distraction to the other classes going on at the same time.

  • Will there be a recital?

Yes!  We do have our CHRISTmas Celebration every December in which your dancer’s class will showcase what they have been learning in class.  At the end of the year, in May, we will have an end of year recital.  Our recital will be in town and as stress free as possible for the parents so that you can relax and enjoy the show.

  • Do we have to purchase costumes?

Yes, all classes that perform in our May recital will purchase a costume.  Each performance class has a costume so you may purchase more than 1 costume depending on how many classes your dancer takes.  Costumes are usually around $75 with tax per costume.

For our CHRISTmas Celebration, we do require that everyone purchases a tee-shirt to wear to the show.  This usually costs between $20-$25

  • What individual things are offered to my child?

Several teachers at the studio offer private lessons for those dancers seeking additional training.  Dancers that are part of a team do have opportunities to work on solo, duet and trio dances as well as other unique routines that are offered only to team members.

You as a parent can also help them be successful through practice at home.  Encourage your dancer to work on routines learned in class, stretching daily, and having fun dancing to music and making up their own choreography!

  • What will my child need to wear? What supplies does she need?

Dancers will need to dress appropriately for the style of class.  Please refer to our dress code policy for more detailed information.

  • What if I have a concern?

It is very important to us that we have good communication with all parents.  If you have a question or concern, please speak with us so that, together, we can keep this a positive, enjoyable experience for everyone.  Email is the fastest and best way to reach us.

  • What if we miss a class?

We highly encourage that dancers do not miss class as it can be easy to get behind.  Your child may feel discouraged that they did not learn what their class learned that day.  Please refer to our studio policies on class absences for a better understanding of our expectations.

  • Will being a part of this program help my child to make their middle school or high school dance team?

We cannot assure that the training received from our program will guarantee a spot on a high school dance team.  However, we will work our hardest to provide our dancers will the knowledge and training to help them be more successful at any dance opportunity outside of the program.

This program is not meant to only cater to students that will be attending Permian High.  Those dancers that choose to be a part of our program and wish to continue on with their high school dance team, must try-out at the high school that is associated with their personal home address.
