Zoe Watkins
Team Elevate Coach & Lead Teacher
Zoe Michelle Watkins is a proud Odessa native with a lifelong passion for dance and education. She began her dance training at the age of three and has since studied extensively in all major styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and pom. Her early dedication to the art form laid the foundation for a successful performance and teaching career rooted in discipline, versatility, and a deep love for dance.
Zoe is a former three-year Varsity Panther Paw at Permian High School, serving as one of the team captains her senior year, and a former two-year member of the Odessa College Blues Dance Team. She has also spent three years as a dance instructor and two years as a coach for Team Elevate at EnCroix Dance Academy, where her teams earned multiple first-place awards during competition seasons. In addition to her instructional work, she has had the privilege of choreographing for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Panther Paws.
Currently, Zoe is in her first year as a dance educator in the Permian High School Dance Program—a full-circle moment for an alumna of the program that played such a pivotal role in her development. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Science at Odessa College and plans to obtain her teacher certification for the Fall 2026 season. Zoe is deeply grateful for the opportunities that EnCroix has provided her and is eager to give back with the same dedication and heart. Her passion lies not only in developing technically strong and expressive dancers, but also in guiding students to become confident, disciplined, and compassionate individuals both on and off the dance floor.
